- The SupraSonic uses the same Rockwell datapump as the regular
- SupraFAXmodem (and many other modems) uses. While Rockwell hasn't said
- definatively whether or not their datapump is upgradable to 33.6, the
- general consensus is that it isn't. The datapump code can not be changed
- without changing the whole chip, and it doesn't seem likely that Rockwell
- would have included the needed code when they made these chips way back
- when (late '94 or early '95 unless they have a new datapump that i haven't
- seen).
